Directions for Use
Tassie Naturals Chicken Manure is 100% screened and composted chicken manure from Tasmanian chickens! Chicken manure is famously high in nitrogen making it a perfect option for growing leafy greens, greening up lawns and improving depleted soils. Of course it has more than just high nitrogen levels, it is also rich in phosphorus and potassium making it a good choice to enrich garden beds.
As a Soil Improver
Apply approximately half a bag per square metre and dig into existing soil. Water in thoroughly after application.
Garden Beds
Apply a layer 50mm thick and work into the soil for best results. It can be layered on top and over time work itself into the soil if needed. Water in thoroughly after application.
Tassie Naturals Chicken Manure is a composted product to reduce weed seed viability, product odour and appeal to pests. This product is not recommended for pots or for phosphorus sensitive plants like some Australian natives.
